Details:
• Full cycle accounting (A/R, A/P, journal entries, adjusting entries, financial reports)
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; including bank, visa, deposits, receivables, intercompany, etc
• GST, PST, WCB remittances, reporting, and reconciliations
• Run payroll on a bi-weekly basis. Manage all payroll remittances, prepare ROE’s as required. Prepare annual T4s. Manage medical, dental, union and life insurance benefits enrolments.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience working in Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll and Payroll reports.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, and Excel
• Have had experience in working with scale in logging
• Experience in services related to payroll such as writing checks, submitting payroll taxes, and ensuring compliance with the Canadian Payroll Legislation
• Must be responsible and self- managed
