Qualifications & Experience:
Related Degree / Diploma / Certificate or two years related experience
English and French language essential
Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Administrative experience in a non-profit organization
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Access, Excel, Publishing)
Knowledge of the military lifestyle is a definite asset
Willingness to work flexible hours
Join our team! The incumbent of this key position will work under the direction of the Executive Director and Program Coordinators to facilitate and plan programming. In addition to program implementation, the Program Assistant will also be front end staff who will warmly receive clients and visitors with a focus on high-level client-centered customer service that is friendly, professional and courteous. The MFRC is a busy hub for Military families; thus, a broad knowledge of all our programs and services and adherence to our core values is expected. The provision of clerical and computing support (MS Office Suite, Access and Publisher) to other staff is a part of the daily duties. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records are essential skills.
