Money Matters - An Online Learning Opportunity

Saving/Managing Your Money for Post Secondary Education

WorkBC Centre - North Island invites you to join them online on Thursday, April 25th for a dynamic presentation on Saving/Managing Money for Post-Secondary (or further skills training).

Presented in partnership with the Credit Counselling Society of BC, this engaging & informative webinar will provide participants with guidance around assessing their costs, identifying resources, figuring out how to pay for further schooling, a basic understanding of the student loan system, and some pro tips on how to talk about money. 

You will also come away with an understanding about skills training options that may be available to you through WorkBC Centre - North Island. (Please note, eligibility criteria does apply).

Skills Training Information Sessions:

WorkBC Centre-North Island offers bi-weekly Skills Training Information Sessions every second Thursday from 10 am -11:30 am.

These information sessions may be attended in-person in the WorkBC Centre-Campbell River (920 Alder street) , or virtually via Zoom.

The session will provide an overall understanding of skills training support available through WorkBC Employment Services, clarify the process steps related to the application process, & touch on other training resources & sources of funding.
