This is a Maternity Fill for a term of 18 months
The incumbent of this 30 hour per week multi-faceted key position will report to the Executive Director, and will be required to provide development and coordination of programs and services for the Comox Military Family Resource Centre. An understanding of / experience in non-profit organizations and contracting would be beneficial. The Community Engagement Coordinator position commences December 2018 to August 2020.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records are essential skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Related Degree / Diploma / Certificate or two years related experience
Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Administrative experience in a non-profit organization
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Access, Excel, Publishing)
Knowledge of the military lifestyle is a definite asset
Willingness to work flexible hours
