Systems Administrator at Health Retreat
Working hours: 9-5 with 1 hr lunch break
As Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of all IT systems, 20+ computers between two offices, business systems, office systems, computer networks, VPN and telephony (VOIP & Landlines) systems throughout the retreat and main office. You’ll be directly reporting to the President and working in conjunction with Remote IT Manager.
Additionally responsible for implementation, management & automation of Cloud Business Systems/Applications and user/policy management. Also centrally manage logins/users of AD & All cloud based systems on RoboForm or another logins management system.
Setup new users and provide initial user training and support of all property/office/business systems.
You will be responsible for creation of user friendly, visual, easy to follow procedures, check lists and team training. Managed on TeamWorkDesk, Litmos and Process.st.
Provide network enhancements, hardware/software and usera support. Maintain inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.
Primary Duties:
-Responsible for overseeing and handling network configuration, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, Online business applications, email accounts, and also support for the underlying server/desktop infrastructure.
-Implementations of new Cloud business systems
-User training documentation development and user training
-Should be capable of doing Root Cause Analysis on a problem.
-Prepare & Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all IT hardware & Software.
-Manage leadership in the establishment of project scope, technical strategy , cost, budget and staff support requirements with new IT initiatives.
Additional duties:
Responsible for regular operations equipment maintenance (vans, juicers, colonic machine). It is a very small portion, but needs to be done several times per year, to ensure smooth operations.
$23 hr or $50.000
Qualifications & Experience:

Systems Administrator Must Haves:
-Documentation and Training Materials Creation-for none tech users
-Excellent English writing and spoken skills. Lots of content to create.
-Must know the TCP/IP Network fundamentals, general network setup and device configuration. Layer 1, 2 and 3 knowledgeable (including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, routing, VPN).
-Good knowledge of server hardware, Disk storage technology, I/O devices.
-Skilled in usage of system level profiling tools and network monitoring systems and protocols (SNMP) to aid in application performance profiling.
-Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN
-Knowledge of Microsoft Server software and technologies (Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange)
-Background in highly available systems and image capture/management systems.
-System security and reliability tools like backup solutions, firewalls, antivirus, etc.
-IT proactive and minded for permanent improving vision.

Experience:
-A minimum of 3 Years of experience of managing 50-100 users across a number of online systems in a centralized way.
-Have managed an Enterprise grade IT/Network Infrastructure & Group policies
-New cloud based business systems implementation and user adoption training
-Fast in creating step by step procedures and training guides (pics, screen casts, online and paper).
Education:
-Degree or Diploma in Information Technology field. Along with In depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft or Cisco certification.
-Applicable Microsoft certifications: MCSA, MCTS or MCITP for Windows Server, MCDST for workstations.
-Experience with business applications management related applications and or systems (Telus, Shaw, Cloud Docs (Box), CRM, VOIP/PBX (RingCentral), Remote Desktop (TeamViewer), Exchange Online, LMS (Litmos), Backups (Acronis) etc.).
