Qualifications & Experience:
Head Chef, Red Seal or equivialent experience a must.
We require minimum 2 yrs previous head chef experience at a resort or fine dine restaurant as a pre-requisite.
The successful applicant must be able to design a menu, stay within the perimeters of a budget and place appropriate food orders in a timely fashion to maintain stock.
The position requires the chef to work 7 days/week and 10 hrs/day, the chef will also supervise two kitchen staff.
This is a live-in position and the staff accommodation includes your own room with shared bathroom and common areas.
Compensation will be a daily rate negotiated prior to hiring and will commensurate with experience.
