Details:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will have 7-10 years of supervisory experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment. Ideally you possess coastal logging industry or heavy industry related experience in your profession. You have comprehensive knowledge of air and hydraulic systems and understand the necessity for the timely repair and turnaround of mobile equipment including excavators, grapple yarders, graders, trucks, loaders and other heavy equipment. Candidates require the ability to diagnose equipment problems, disassemble and reassemble components by using all appropriate tools and following OEM and Company procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:
•7-10 years of supervisory experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, some coastal logging industry experience preferred.
•Ingenuity, job task planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills will be valuable assets when ordering parts, keeping maintenance reports and other relevant documentation.
•An appreciation of the timeliness of ordering, maintenance reports and team work are a critical part of our success.
•Amongst your peers and those who report to you, you are considered to be an effective leader with excellent communication skills.
•You bring to the job an exceptional safety record, a good working knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety regulations, and a willingness to work with Western Forest Products in reaching our safety and production objectives.
•Intermediate MS Office skills are an asset for this position.
